Seeking the face of Christ in neighbors near and far
As Christians, we are called at baptism to “seek and serve Christ in all persons.” St. John’s Outreach Committee leads community engagement and builds partnerships to serve others, locally and around the world. The Committee has a special focus on educational initiatives and securing aid for those in need.
St. John’s partners with organizations here in Washington and across the world to demonstrate God’s grace and love to those in need, actively serving underserved communities through its programming. The congregation supports education initiatives and institutions, feeds community members experiencing housing insecurity, and advocates for affordable housing and refugee resettlement.
